Ubisoft has added voice chat moderation to Rainbow Six Siege X as part of the Y10S3.3 update, introducing an in-game panel that flags “detected disruptive voice or text chat” and giving players a route to contest incorrect detections.
This is a direct step to reduce toxicity across casual and competitive playlists. Official messaging posted on October 14, 2025 shows players loading into casual and ranked matches will now see a new panel when disruptive chat is detected. All past voice chat detections have been reset, giving everyone a clean slate for the latest chapter of Siege’s tenth year. Players who hold a reputation standing of Respectable and above will be able to provide feedback if they believe a detection was incorrect, which should help the system parcel out appropriate punishments and correct mistakes.
October has been busy for Ubisoft beyond Siege. The company has also officially launched Vantage Studios, a new subsidiary tasked with overseeing Rainbow Six and other franchises. Rainbow Six Siege X will carry these moderation features into competitive scenes as the BLAST R6 Munich Major runs from November 8 to 16, 2025, where 16 teams will fight for a $750,000 prize pool and a shot at direct qualification to the Six Invitational 2026.

A lot is riding on moderation doing its job here. Players deserve matches without targeted harassment, and the ability to contest false positives is a welcome inclusion. Ubisoft says the reset should help with accuracy as the system adjusts to new thresholds and player feedback.
