Bethesda has confirmed that an update is coming to Quake Champions which is going to terminate the servers in order to apply. As it appears in the statement, minority of players are experiencing crashes when launching the game, so for its removal, a hotfix is about to come tomorrow.
Quake Champions has been quite a good title in 2017. The game has dully and respectfully created a small but strong community, which yet tends to enjoy the game at any cause. Therefore, the developer has prepared some surprises to come in 2018, despite the fact that players may enjoy the game for free.
You still have one more day to save your settings! The hotfix will be deployed tomorrow 18.01 from 9AM EST – 1PM EST (2PM GMT – 6PM GMT). More details here: https://t.co/tzIv2jkg1f

The hotfix will take the servers down for approximately 4 hours and will start deploying at 9AM. Despite the crashing issue, the game will receive a precise mouse sens tweak and get rid of the incorrect champion being shown on the profile screen. That being said, post-match statistics will be assigned to the correct champion.
