PUBG’s Rules are Extremely Strict, Even a Stream Snipe Might Get You Banned

So, you might want to think twice before you do something stupid in Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds. PUBG’s Ban Hammer might come anytime if you’re breaking the rules, no matter the form of the offense. Indeed, bans might come in any forms, and Brendan Greene has proved that.

After DrDisrespect’s ban because of a team-kill, there was another recent ban delivered because of a Stream Snipe. The player who was banned has been Stream Sniping in order to get a slightly better advantage, and Playerunknown has tweeted the same. There’s a bit of concern around this, as some players just enjoy watching their favorite streamers while playing PUBG on their own.

Stream Snipers should be gone for good

Back towards the ban hammer, the tweet actually points out that PUBG owns an improved algorithm for detecting if players are Stream Sniping or not. So if you are Stream Sniping, do not get surprised if you get banned out of nowhere. That should be always forbidden, and we’re glad to see that Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is the first game that fights against Stream Snipers. No matter how scary the “algorithm” itself sounds, it is always good to see at least one scary story to clear the rest of the Stream Snipers out of PUBG.

However, Stream Snipers will exist forever, just as the hackers and they will exist forever in literally every single game. It’s just a cancerous situation and no one can fight against it properly. But, it’s always good to see someone’s trying.

There’s no false ban in Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, as Bluehole claims that the game has an advanced “Algorithm”. That being said, no one gets a special treatment, and that’s what exactly happened with the poor Stream Sniper.

I’m a guy that loves to play by the rules, even in real life. That’s why I am extremely happy to see Bluehole fighting against this. This is another reason why you should simply follow the set of rules created by Playerunknown.

I disagree, I don’t think there should be bans for “stream sniping.” If you don’t want people to know where you are and hunt down, you’re always free to not broadcast it to the world.
