PUBG Mobile’s 4.6 Update Turns Matches Into a Vampire Hunt

The limited-time Midnight Hunters mode adds PvE enemies, vampire abilities, and transformed map locations.

PUBG Mobile’s 4.6 update brings a vampire-themed battle to the mobile shooter through Midnight Hunters, a limited-time mode with PvE enemies, new challenges, themed item sets, and locations connected to the Vampire Hunter Guild.

Midnight Hunters turns familiar districts into hunting grounds where players face supernatural threats alongside the usual dangers of a match. The mode also adds a new layer of story, with hunters and vampires locked in a faction conflict across the transformed map.

Midnight Hunters adds new PvE threats

Several enemies are joining the mode, each built around a different combat role:

  • Bloodwalkers focus on melee attacks.
  • Nightbat attacks from range.
  • Vampire Elder serves as a mini boss.

Elite versions of these enemies can push encounters further with protective shields, special finisher animations, and stronger takedowns. Players will need to manage those threats while still dealing with the usual pressure of a battle royale match.

The update gives players supernatural tools of their own. Twilight Bat Wings can transform a player into an energy bat for rapid movement across the map, while the Silvermoon Chain works as both an offensive and defensive item and can help with traversal.

A Blood Crystal Barrier can seal windows, and new medical items give players more ways to stay in the fight against Midnight Hunters’ enemies.

More 4.6 content is scheduled for September

Beyond the vampire mode, Ocean Odyssey will return on September 30. The 4.6 roadmap also includes collaborations with Lincoln, One-Punch Man, and B.Duck.

Classic Mode and Arena Mode receive broad changes in the update, while the seasonal content includes Halloween scenery, themed items, a limited-time Ghost Ship event, and new Brainrot content.

Season 32 is scheduled to release on September 12 with new tier rewards, exclusive cosmetics, and additional content. PUBG Mobile’s 4.6 update is therefore setting up more than one themed event, with Midnight Hunters providing the central vampire-focused change and the later September additions keeping the season moving.
