PUBG: Black Budget moved to its second Closed Alpha window on Dec. 19, 2025, and KRAFTON has pushed a small set of stability and matchmaking updates for this week’s test. The studio said these changes land in addition to the strengthened anti-cheat measures already rolled out. The updates focus on matching players more accurately by party size and skill, prioritizing lower-ping servers for regional players, and reducing the crash frequency some testers saw during Week 1.
The developer’s note highlights three areas: Matchmaking Improvements, Crash Issue Improvements, and a short list of recommendations for players to keep their clients stable. The most immediate impacts are better pairing for solo, duo, and squad queues and improved server selection based on ping. MENA-region players should see the matchmaking quality improve this week.
