PS5 Exclusive Launch Title Destruction AllStars Delayed to February 2021

Destruction AllStars is an upcoming first-party vehicular combat game exclusive to the PS5, developed by Lucid Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game was initially meant to be a launch title for the PS5, coming out in November, but its release date has been pushed back to February 2021.

Pete Smith, the director for product development for Lucid Games, wrote in an official Sony blog post about the game’s delay. However, it’s not all bad news. Players will be able to claim the game for free via PS Plus when it gets released, and it’ll most likely be claimable for around two months.

All pre-orders will be refunded, and the blog also promises further details and trailers to be released soon ahead of the game’s release. The article doesn’t specify the reason behind the delay, but it’s most likely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as most fans are speculating.

Destruction All-Stars looks like an up-and-coming and overall-fun game having players use cars to battle it out in an arena. It’s something that many Rocket League fans can look forward to if they want to take a break from scoring goals and battle it out in a chaotic demolition derby.
