Hey Trainers! Niantic just dropped the schedule for the next season’s Community Days and other interesting events running through June, July, and August 2025. If you’re a Pokémon GO fan, these dates are definitely worth saving because they promise plenty of action and some interesting surprises!
Here are the confirmed dates for the upcoming Community Days:
- Saturday, June 21, 2025
- Saturday and Sunday, July 5–6, 2025 (Community Day Classic two-day event)
- Sunday, July 20, 2025
- Saturday, August 30, 2025
For the new Community Days, Jangmo-o seems like a strong candidate. Its shiny form is excellent with bright lime yellow and pink colors, and it fits the pattern of rare Dragon-type shinies appearing a year after Pokémon GO Fest. Also, Quaxly, the last Paldean starter without a shiny, might finally get its spotlight. But hey, Niantic loves surprises, so who knows what else might pop up?
Additional Event Dates
Community Days aren’t the only fun coming your way. Here’s a rundown of other in-game events planned for the season:

- Saturday, July 19, 2025 (Max Battle Day)
- Saturday and Sunday, July 26–27, 2025 (Max Battle Weekend)
- Saturday, August 2, 2025 (Research Day)

Thoughts on these events
The season looks packed with Raid and Max Battle events, with only a few other event types sprinkled in. The dedicated Max Battle Day might bring a new Gigantamax Pokémon, possibly Orbeetle, who was teased during Dynamax’s debut but hasn’t appeared in Pokémon GO yet. Its UFO-inspired design would be a fabulous addition!
Max Battle Weekends could introduce a fresh set of Legendary Pokémon. We’ve already featured the Kanto birds and Johto dogs, so maybe Lugia and Ho-Oh will be next? Plus, with remote Shadow Raids and Max Battles launching soon, this season promises a different vibe for battling.
What do you think about these dates and possible Pokémon? Are you hyped for a two-day Eevee event or hoping to catch that shiny Jangmo-o? Drop your thoughts and predictions in the comments below—I’m all ears!
