Pokémon GO’s May 4-10 lineup stacks raids, Rocket cleanup, and a Lechonk Community Day

Dynamax Cottonee, Nihilego Raid Hour, Steeled Resolve, and May 9's Lechonk Community Day fill out the week.

The May 4 to May 10 window lands in the final month of Pokémon GO’s Memories in Motion season, and the schedule does not waste the space. Max Monday, Raid Hour, the last stretch of Steeled Resolve, the Rocket-focused Steeled Resolve: Taken Over, and Lechonk Community Day all sit inside the same week.

That mix gives trainers a little bit of everything. There is raid prep, Dynamax hunting, Team GO Rocket cleanup, and a weekend event that puts Lechonk front and center.

Raids and Max Battles

Monday, May 4, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time brings Dynamax Cottonee into Max Battles. Cottonee stays available in Max Battles through May 10, so this is the cleanest hour to focus on the featured slot.

Wednesday, May 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time is Nihilego Raid Hour. That same date also changes the raid rotation. Tapu Lele remains in five-star raids through May 5, then Nihilego takes over five-star raids from May 6 to May 12. Mega Camerupt also enters Mega Raids for the same May 6 to May 12 window.

Shadow Raids continue on the usual daily schedule in one-star and three-star tiers, with five-star Shadow Raids on Saturdays and Sundays unless Niantic says otherwise. Shadow Cresselia is still part of the Memories in Motion pool, and Shiny Shadow Cresselia can still appear.

Rocket cleanup and Community Day

Steeled Resolve runs through Monday, May 4, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The event brings Orthworm‘s debut and shortens the wait on the Mystery Box cooldown.

Steeled Resolve: Taken Over also ends on Monday, May 4, at 8:00 p.m. local time. During that event, trainers can remove Frustration, save Shadow Incarnate Forme Landorus, face Rocket Grunts and Leaders using new Shadow Pokémon, and hatch Shiny Varoom from 12 km Eggs for the first time in Pokémon GO.

The weekend anchor is Lechonk Community Day on Saturday, May 9, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Trainers can expect boosted Lechonk spawns, 2x catch Candy, and a chance to find Shiny Lechonk. Evolving Lechonk during the event, or up to four hours after it ends, will grant Oinkologne with the exclusive Fast Attack Mud-Slap.

GO Pass, Battle League, and season rewards

The May 2026 GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe are active with Suicune, XP, Stardust, and PokéCoin rewards. Trainers received GO Pass: May on Saturday, May 2, at 10:00 a.m. local time, and the Deluxe path is available through the Pokémon GO Web Store.

GO Battle League: Memories in Motion continues this week with Great League and Fantasy Cup: Great League Edition through May 5. The next rotation begins May 12 with Master League and Catch Cup: Memories in Motion: Great League Edition.

The season-long bonuses stay active too. Trainers level 31 and above receive one guaranteed Candy XL for in-person trades, all in-person trades grant one extra Candy, and the game is giving extra XP for seven-day PokéStop and catch streaks, plus extra Stardust for seven-day catch streaks.

Field Research rewards can still lead to Gyarados, Honedge, Dhelmise, Sinistea, Duraludon, or Dreepy through the Research Breakthrough pool.

If this week looks busy, that is because it is. Share your thoughts in the comments, and keep up with more updates on X, Bluesky, YouTube, and Instagram.
