Where to find the Halloween costumes

Pikachu and Sinistea will appear in One-Star Raids, while costumed Zubat will appear in the wild. Other wild encounters include Duskull and Piplup wearing a Halloween Mischief costume. Drifblim wearing the same costume may also appear, and these wild Pokémon may be Shiny if you are lucky. Event-themed Field Research can award encounters with event Pokémon.

Keep an eye out for spooky surprises left behind by mischievous Pokémon in the wild. Tapping one may award an event-themed Pokémon encounter, Pikachu, Zubat, or Sinistea Candy, or, if you are lucky, Rare Candy. Sinistea, the Ghost-type teacup Pokémon, gets a seasonal bow for its debut.

The Halloween GO Pass lasts beyond Part One

The free Halloween GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe will be available from Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. through Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. local time, four days after Part I ends. Trainers receive the standard pass automatically and can earn GO Points by completing Pass Tasks. Rewards include event Pokémon encounters, Pokémon Candy, Rare Candy, Ultra Balls, and more. Rewards must be claimed by Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. local time.

Reaching Rank 10 unlocks 2× Candy for catching Pokémon, or 3× Candy with GO Pass Deluxe. Rank 20 unlocks 2× Stardust for catches, or 3× Stardust for Deluxe holders. Additional bonus tasks may also appear during the event.

GO Pass Deluxe costs US$7.99 and adds extra event encounters, the Patissier Top and Patissier Pants, Rare Candy XL, and Premium Battle Passes. For US$9.99, the Deluxe + 10 Ranks option grants enough GO Points to reach Rank 11. Trainers can upgrade at any time and still claim rewards from ranks they already unlocked. Prices are listed in USD or the equivalent local currency, and Deluxe availability may vary by region.

Web Store purchases include additional items. The Deluxe upgrade comes with 10 Ultra Balls, five Max Revives, one Premium Battle Pass, and five Max Potions. Deluxe + 10 Ranks includes 10 Ultra Balls, five Max Revives, two Premium Battle Passes, and five Max Potions. A separate Deluxe + 10 Ranks Ultra Box includes 20 Ultra Balls, 10 Max Revives, 10 Max Potions, and five Premium Battle Passes.

More Halloween touches arrive with the event

A remix of the Lavender Town music will play each night during the Halloween event. A video of the remix is available here.

Pokémon encounters, PokéStops, and Gyms will receive Halloween decorations during both parts of the event. The in-game shop will add the Gothic Skirt Set, Gothic Shorts Set, Gothic Socks, and Gothic Boots, which will remain available after the event ends. Halloween stickers can be collected from PokéStops and Gifts or purchased from the shop.
