Pokémon GO’s Coin Shop Makes Its Web Store Bonuses Easy to Spot

The comparison covers six bundles from 100 to 14,500 PokéCoins while keeping each in-game and web price identical.

Pokémon GO is putting the difference between its in-game coin purchases and web store offers right in the shop interface. A screenshot shared by a player in the r/TheSilphRoad community shows both purchase routes at the same price points, with larger bonus figures appearing on the web side.

Same prices, different bonus display

The shop compares six bundles: 100, 550, 1,200, 2,500, 5,200, and 14,500 PokéCoins. Their prices remain identical across both options, ranging from $0.99 to $99.99.

At the 550-PokéCoin tier, the in-game column shows +30, while the web column displays +50 and +60. The 1,200-PokéCoin option shows +60 in-game compared with +100 and +120 on the web. The same pattern continues at higher prices: +120 versus +200/+240 for $19.99, +240 versus +400/+480 for $39.99, and +600 versus +1,000/+1,200 for $99.99.

A small pop-up covers part of the $0.99 web listing, although the in-game side visibly includes a +5 figure. The icons are not explained in the screenshot, so it is safest to describe them as displayed bonuses rather than assume what each reward represents.

One screenshot does not confirm a global rollout

The comparison makes the web store’s extra rewards much harder to miss, but the post does not establish whether the layout is available to every Trainer or whether it is part of a limited test. Pokémon GO players will need to check their own shop to see whether the same comparison has appeared.
