Pokémon GO and ANA are joining forces to celebrate the launch of the Green Pokémon Jet. Starting September 18, 2026, selected airports across Japan will feature special PokéStops, Gyms, Bulbasaur raids, and Timed Research. The airport campaign will also be part of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebrations, taking the Pokémon world from the mobile game into the skies.
ANA and Pokémon GO are the two names at the center of this aviation collaboration, with the Green Pokémon Jet serving as its main attraction. The official Pokémon GO announcement presents the aircraft and partnership. The collaboration will continue through August 2027, while the second phase focuses on airports in Shikoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa.
Bulbasaur Raids Will Offer Special Location Backgrounds
Bulbasaur will appear in Raid Battles at participating airport Gyms during the campaign. Any Bulbasaur caught from these raids will come with a Green Pokémon Jet-themed Location Background, and Shiny Bulbasaur will also be available. Each participating Gym will host one eligible Bulbasaur Raid Battle per day, following the regular Raid Battle schedule.
Phase 2 Timed Research Has a Three-Day Expiry
Trainers visiting a participating airport can receive exclusive Timed Research with encounters featuring event-themed Pokémon. The research can be claimed once across all Phase 2 locations, and its three-day timer starts when a Trainer receives it.
Trainers who claimed the Phase 1 Timed Research remain eligible for the Phase 2 research. Visiting more than one Phase 2 airport will not provide extra copies, so there is no need to collect the same research repeatedly at different locations.

ANA’s Green Pokémon Jet Will Fly International Routes
The Green Pokémon Jet is an ANA Boeing 787-9 registered as JA923A. The aircraft is scheduled to operate from September 18, 2026, through March 27, 2027. Its inaugural flight details are listed below.
The green design stretches from nose to tail and features Pikachu alongside Grass-type starter Pokémon from across the series, including Treecko, Chikorita, Grookey, and Bulbasaur. ANA’s announcement about the Green Pokémon Jet provides the aircraft’s initial flight details.

ANA’s listed international destinations from Tokyo Haneda include Honolulu, Seattle, Vancouver, Sydney, Manila, Singapore, Delhi, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Kuala Lumpur. From Tokyo Narita, the listed destinations are Perth, Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Mumbai.
All flight times are local. The aircraft and route assignments may change from day to day, with final confirmation provided on the day of departure.
Pokémon Details Continue Inside the Cabin
The Pokémon theme will continue after passengers board. ANA will play a Pokémon-themed safety video before each departure, with Machamp demonstrating how to fasten a seatbelt, Jigglypuff reacting angrily to smoking on board, and Mr. Mime showing passengers how to use an oxygen mask.
Grass Pokémon will also appear on cocktail napkins and drinking cups during food and beverage service. Pokémon-themed headrests will be available while supplies last, and music from the game series will play during boarding and disembarkation.
Blue Pokémon Jet Events Will Follow Later
A Phase 3 event is planned around the launch of the Blue Pokémon Jet. It will use another group of participating airports and offer a new round of Timed Research, including for Trainers who completed the Phase 1 or Phase 2 research.
The Phase 3 airports, dates, featured Pokémon, and other event details have not been announced yet.
