Pocketpair has announced Palworld: Palfarm, a spin-off farming game where players relocate to an island and put Pals to work across the whole farm lifecycle. The announcement matters because Pals will directly perform tasks such as sowing, watering, harvesting, and even running stores, changing how farm management and the economy play out.
Palworld: Palfarm places players on an island populated by Pals and residents. Each Pal uses its exceptional ability to help run the farm. Examples from the announcement include Pals who sow seeds, Pals who water crops daily, and Pals who harvest or assist with crafting.
Relationships matter too. Daily conversations, teaming up on chores, and gifting items will deepen bonds with both Pals and island residents, and some relationships may become special over time. The island will host a marketplace run by residents and Pals, where players can buy and sell crops, crafted goods, and hunt for rare finds.
Not all encounters are peaceful. Enemy Pals that raid farms and ferocious Pals lurking underground will threaten progress, and defeating them yields resources to expand the farm. The game will also support multiplayer, letting players cooperate or trade on the island.
There is no release date yet. The studio released an in-engine debut trailer to show how Palfarm will look and feel.
This spin-off shifts the focus from monster capture to everyday management and community life, so it will matter most to players who like systems where helpers actually do the work. Share thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X and Bluesky.
