PlayStation’s latest Share of the Week puts virtual trees at center stage, pairing six photo mode captures with a new water-themed prompt. The September 4 PlayStation Blog feature includes scenes from Ghost of Yōtei, Horizon Forbidden West, Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, God of War, and Stellar Blade, while the next theme asks participants to submit water shots by 11:59 PM PT on September 9, 2026.
Six games put trees in the spotlight
Ghost of Yōtei and Horizon Forbidden West take the most naturalistic route. Atsu rides beneath a windswept, twisted tree as dark clouds gather overhead, while Aloy stands among dense forest greenery and shafts of sunlight.

Red Dead Redemption 2 pares the scene back to a lone tree rising from a dry field. God of War takes the opposite approach with its glowing World Tree towering over Kratos, turning the subject into something much larger than a single piece of scenery.

Cyberpunk 2077 brings the theme into a lantern-lit nighttime district, where one tree adds warmth to the neon surroundings. In Stellar Blade, Eve pauses beneath a blossoming tree, giving the collection one of its gentler scenes.

Water takes over the next Share of the Week prompt
The trees will make room for water in the next prompt. Players can share oceans, rivers, and waterfalls using #PSshare and #PSBlog for a chance to be featured, with submissions due by 11:59 PM PT on September 9, 2026.
