Informal numbers claim that the PlayStation 5 is way more popular than the Xbox Series X/S in Japan. The next-gen console developed by Sony has sold over 118.000 units in 4 days, while the Xbox Series X has only 21.000 sold in 6 days of release.
This was confirmed by the renowned Japanese video game magazine Famitsu, which further confirms that the best-selling entertainment software for the PlayStation 5 was Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales with 18.640 units sold, followed by Demon’s Souls, the breath-taking remaster with 18.607 units sold.
