Kinetic Games has released an update for Phasmophobia that brings a fresh look to the Grafton Farmhouse location alongside some quality-of-life tweaks and bug fixes. This version overhauls the farmhouse with new visuals, layout changes, and new gameplay elements that might catch ghost hunters off guard.
Some known issues remain, but a hotfix is expected soon to resolve these issues. Curious about what’s new and what’s been fixed?
Phasmophobia Update Patch Notes
New
- Grafton Farmhouse: Complete visual makeover with new assets and layout tweaks.
- Rooms rethemed and resized.
- A brand-new attic floor added.
- Weather effects now visible inside thanks to open walls and roofs.
- New interactions scattered throughout the map to discover.
- Mannequins in Grafton Farmhouse are now ghost-interactable, and the Bleasdale Farmhouse mannequin gets the same treatment.
- Unique key models for Grafton and Bleasdale Farmhouses now appear in the Truck.
- Added a new “Farmhouse Fieldwork” challenge on the Event Board, tasking players to identify ghosts in both farmhouses.
Changes
- Challenge mode for the week starting August 11 switches to “Do As I Command” but set in Grafton Farmhouse instead of Sunny Meadows.
- Camping stoves now toggle on and off using a switch on the front, rather than the stove itself.
Fixes
- Obake shapeshifting recordings are now easier to capture.
- Ghosts can interact with hanging light bulbs in Farmhouse maps again.
- Minor performance improvements on Bleasdale Farmhouse.
Known issues include some mannequin bugs in Grafton Farmhouse and collision problems with the piano. Kinetic Games is expected to address these in an upcoming hotfix within the month.

Wow, seeing weather effects inside the farmhouse really adds to the creepy vibe. But why add a whole attic now? Guess they want us to look at every nook and cranny for clues. Have you tried interacting with those mannequins yet? It’s kinda eerie when the ghost moves them around.
