Phasmophobia has received a hotfix update, v0.14.0.1, aimed at resolving several problems that popped up after the recent Grafton Farmhouse rework. This update is available on all platforms and includes fixes for bugs affecting gameplay and visuals, especially on Xbox Series X/S.
One of the more frustrating issues fixed involved Twitch Drop rewards, which only showed up after restarting the game and launching a new lobby. That should no longer be necessary. On Xbox Series X/S, players placing multiple cameras in Grafton Farmhouse experienced the CCTV unit screen going dark, which sometimes disconnected them from the game. That glitch has been addressed as well.
Some of the other fixes include mannequins no longer hovering or clipping through the environment after being moved, and players won’t get stuck in the downstairs bathroom of Grafton Farmhouse anymore. Missing text when saving custom difficulties has been restored, which is a relief for those who like to tweak settings.
There were also line-of-sight problems above the dining room table, visual issues when using hiding spots, and items thrown from the upstairs table would disappear. All of these have been corrected. An odd classification bug where distorted music Media was said to be a Ghost Video has also been fixed.
It’s good to see Kinetic Games responding quickly to community feedback and patching these bugs. If you run into any other problems or want to share your thoughts, the official Phasmophobia Discord is the place to go.
