Phasmophobia developer Kinetic Games has released a small update, v.0.14.1.0, that kicks off the game’s 5th anniversary. The patch adds birthday decorations to the main lobby and grants double XP and money between 15th September and 21st September, making regular runs more rewarding during the event week.
Kinetic Games points players to the recent blogpost for fuller anniversary plans and event context. Between 15th September and 21st September players will earn double XP and money from all activities, and the boost appears as a 5th Anniversary – x2 modifier in the Debriefing screen. There is also an anniversary-themed login badge available for anyone who signs in during the week. The update focuses on celebration items and a short-term progression bonus rather than sweeping gameplay changes.
The patch also improves Twitch integration by showing the connected account username in the Twitch Drops pop-up so players can confirm their link. A new Disconnect button lets players unlink Twitch directly from that pop-up for convenience. These are small quality-of-life touches that make account linking clearer. Players who find bugs or want to leave feedback should use the official Phasmophobia Discord.
