Peak has released patch v1.22.a to fix several bugs reported after the recent MESA update. The team is carefully reviewing feedback and working through issues that popped up, including some surprising ones like invisible walls and dynamite mishaps.
Yesterday’s smaller patches already tackled a few problems, but this update adds fixes for more glitches players encountered. For example, dynamite now properly explodes even when placed inside backpacks, which wasn’t the case before. There were also performance hiccups caused by dynamite explosions that have now been sorted out. Yikes, that must have been frustrating.
Another fix deals with backpacks disappearing when lighting campfires if the hosting player is dead. Plus, the 24 Karat badge should trigger correctly from now on, instead of leaving players wondering if it worked at all. And the “Strange Gem” finally has its proper name back, which is a small but nice touch.
Before I forget, there’s also a Discord Quest running where you can earn the Bing Bong badge until August 17th. It might be worth checking out if you’re into collecting badges.
