Pango and Bango Lead Borderlands 4’s August 20-27 Weekly Rotation

The server-side refresh also features Wayward Gun, three mission modifiers, a Darkbeast Daedalus SMG reward, and a relocated Maurice's Black Market Vending Machine.

Borderlands 4 has refreshed its weekly activity lineup for August 20 through August 27, and the new rotation is already live through a server-side update. Players connected to the internet will see the current activities in-game.

Gearbox’s official Steam announcement confirms that the new cycle includes a Weekly Big Encore Boss, a Weekly Wildcard Mission, and a fresh location for Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine. The August 13-20 run featured Core Observer and Whiskey Foxtrot; the new cycle replaces it with a different set of targets.

August 20-27 Weekly Activities

  • Weekly Big Encore Boss: Pango and Bango
  • Weekly Wildcard Mission: Wayward Gun
  • Mission Modifiers: Leaking, Centripetal, and Tricky
  • Legendary Gear Reward: Darkbeast Daedalus SMG

Pango and Bango are the week’s featured Big Encore Boss encounter, giving Vault Hunters a new fight to add to their rotation. Completing the Wildcard Mission, Wayward Gun, means dealing with the Leaking, Centripetal, and Tricky modifiers before claiming the Darkbeast Daedalus SMG.

Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine has also moved for the new cycle. Its location is the same for every player, but the items available inside can differ from one player to another. Comparing finds with friends may help if you are searching for a particular piece of gear.

Players who have completed the main campaign can find the Weekly Big Encore Boss and Weekly Wildcard Mission through the Map tab in the ECHO menu. The activities will remain available through August 27 before the next server-side rotation takes over.
