Palworld just released its v0.6.4 update, bringing a fresh challenge with the new Moon Lord [Master] and plenty of tweaks to gameplay mechanics and bugs. If you’ve been hunting for something tougher or have been bothered by some of the quirks in previous versions, this patch might be worth your time.
So, what’s new? First up, Moon Lord [Master] is a stronger variant of the Moon Lord boss. To face this intimidating foe, players will need to collect a new item called the Celestial Sigil [Master]. Sounds like a real test of skill and patience…
There are also several changes to how your Pals behave. For example, summoned Pals won’t damage neutral or non-hostile Pals when they bump into them anymore, which should reduce some accidental chaos. Plus, sending an overpowered Pal team on expeditions won’t shorten the time but will increase the rewards instead. That’s an interesting trade-off—do you want faster runs or better loot?
Other gameplay mechanics got some polish, too. Enemies won’t respawn after you clear their bases, but this only applies to enemy-built bases, not static camps. Also, death markers now show up above base icons on the map, which could help you keep track of your past misadventures a bit better.
Fishing got some love as well, with additional fishing spots added and fish shadows persisting even if you leave the area. And the UI has been adjusted so that messages about not affording Pals from NPCs are clearer. Small changes, but they add up to a smoother experience.
