Pocketpair and Bushiroad have announced the Palworld Official Card Game, a competitive two-player trading card game scheduled to release on July 30, 2026. The card game lets players deploy their Pals into the field, each with unique abilities to be used in tactical battles. Matches will also include resource gathering and base-building elements, mirroring the survival loop that made the original game popular.
The official site says, “Team up with your trusty Pals and experience the thrill of overcoming formidable enemies through this exciting trading card game.” A short teaser has already been released, showing early card art and a taste of how battles will look on the table.
The project pairs Pocketpair with Bushiroad, a veteran in collectible card production known for Cardfight!! Vanguard, Weiss Schwarz, and Shadowverse: Evolve. That experience should help translate Palworld’s systems into a physical competitive format. Pocketpair has told fans on the official Palworld Discord that more details, including pricing and full card lists, will be shared soon.
The announcement comes while Palworld is still involved in a legal dispute with Nintendo over alleged similarities to Pokémon. The card game shows Pocketpair pushing the IP into physical products and competitive play despite the ongoing case.
