Anshar Studios has rolled out the first hotfix for Painkiller across PC and consoles. The update puts leaderboards into the shooter and sweeps up dozens of bugs that were tripping up raids, bots, and some UI bits. Leaderboards are the splashy addition here. Each location now has its own leaderboard, ranked by the score earned during a raid. The boards are accessible from the Lobby and are platform-specific, so PC and console runs stay separate.
Alongside that, the hotfix includes several gameplay and quality-of-life changes. Control feel for the communication wheel using a mouse has been reduced to improve navigation. Voice lines have been tuned down to prevent spam during combat. Players can also pick the active display monitor from the settings, and will hear sound effects when reward windows appear in the Lobby.
