Moon Studios, the minds behind Ori and The Blind Forest, and the sequel have publicly stated that they’re requesting their character, Ori, to be added in Smash Bros Ultimate in the future. Ori is the main protagonist of both of the games, accompanied by the guardian Sein.
Ori And The Blind Forest and Ori And The Willow Of The Wisps are platformer adventure games, having players solve tight puzzles to further progress and fight against different enemies. Both games are considered masterpieces by indie game fans, making sense why Moon Studios are requesting it.
Without a doubt, the games are amazing, but the main protagonist isn’t so iconic as with other indie games like Shovel Knight and Sans from Undertale. To get into smash, your character must have the memorability of Nintendo’s games. We’re not saying that Ori is a flawed character. He’s marvelous, but sadly, he doesn’t fit the category of Smash.
