Starry Studio pushed Version 2.2.4 for Once Human on December 24 to address a wave of issues that appeared after the Deviation combat changes on December 23. The update targets combat errors, marketplace and UI glitches, map and performance stalls, and several cross-platform sync problems affecting both PC and mobile players.
Players who run into problems are asked to report bugs in-game via the usual menus on PC and mobile. The developer also links a longer explanation of the combat changes on the Steam news page, and the team previously issued follow-up fixes for 2.2.3, see our December 18 bug fixes recap for context.
Patch Notes
These notes focus on the items Starry Studio listed as fixed in 2.2.4. The patch primarily remedies issues introduced by the New Combat Deviation Skill System update and then addresses a range of UI, sync, and gameplay bugs that affected different game modes and content packs.
- Fixes related to deviation combat: The “New Combat Deviation Skill System” update on December 23 introduced a significant update to combat content, aiming to provide a comprehensive combat refresh experience and enhance the fun of deviation combat. Due to the extensive changes, even after multiple joint tests, there were still many new and iterative modifications that did not fully cover the real online combat environment. As a result, several issues beyond the design expectations occurred after yesterday’s update, which we have urgently fixed. We have provided a detailed explanation of the related content.
