Players are advised to download the update over Wi-Fi and plan accordingly during the window. After maintenance, all players will receive compensation: Starchrom ×1,000, Paradise Coin ×100, Transformation Cookie: Chillet ×5, Transformation Cookie: Chillet Ignis ×5, and blueprint conversion attempt ×3.
This is a big content push. The headline items are a brand-new PvE scenario called Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve, a limited Once Human × Palworld collaboration and Paradise Island, a global Deviation Master World Championship, new invasion mechanics for Endless Dream, a new flying vehicle, Island Paradise creative testing for Eternaland, loot crate and shop updates, territory construction snapping improvements, plus a long list of balance tweaks and bug fixes. Version 2.2.0 Update Announcement (October 29)
The Version 2.2.0 server maintenance and update is planned for October 29 at 4:00 PM (PT) and is expected to last about 2 hours (actual time may differ). Please plan your game time accordingly for the best experience. We recommend downloading the update over Wi-Fi. NOTE: If the update is delayed on Steam, it may be downloaded more than once.
This update includes: the new PvE scenario Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve, the Once Human × Palworld collaboration event, the Deviation Master World Championship, the new invasion gameplay in Endless Dream, a new flying vehicle, the fresh Eternaland mode Island Paradise, the Lightforge Loot Crate Lumino Adventure, and territory construction snapping improvements, along with several other optimizations and recent bug fixes.

New PvE Scenario “Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve” Now Live
The world is mutating and Deviations are spreading. In this brand new scenario, Deviations break free from the Cradle and appear before you in more expressive and dynamic forms.
Delve into a Deviation ecosystem
Craft specialized capture devices and study how Deviations appear across the world to successfully secure each one you encounter.
Awaken Deviation abilities
Deviations will now travel and fight alongside you as companions, each with unique abilities for exploration, combat, and territory work.
Customize your Deviation team
You can form a team of up to three Deviations and mix traits to create battle squads tailored to situations.
Engage in Deviation battles
Challenge NPC-run arenas or face other Metas in real-time matches. Victory depends on lineup and bond with your Deviations.
Secure the Chaos Deviations
Hidden Chaos Deviations are powerful foes tied to the world’s troubles; uncover and secure them.
Deviation Fusion
Fuse Deviations, or even Deviations with animals and furniture, to make new entities with mixed traits.

Once Human X Palworld collaboration event is now live
Collaboration Event Period: After the October 29 update – January 20 (PT).

Main points:
- Palworld collaboration Deviations: Cattiva, Chillet, and Chillet Ignis join the game.
- All Palworld collaboration cosmetics are free, including fashion sets, furniture, weapon charms, namecards, and avatars.
- Paradise Island map opens with hourly events, loot crates, and Paradise Coins for exclusive rewards.
- Five Transformation Cookies let players transform into Pals and access special actions and interactions.
Paradise Coins and event mechanics are described in the announcement, and the collaboration map includes the Deviation Master World Championship sign-up at Paradise Plaza. Invitation and event access links are provided by the developer.
Deviation Master World Championship
Qualifiers Time: After the update on October 29, 2025 – 08:00 on December 10, 2025 (PT)
Players can sign up through the event screen. Battles are balanced for fairness during qualifiers. Top 64 players in each region advance and receive medals and rewards. The event invites players with instant rewards and regional rankings.

Endless Dream Scenario Updates
New invasion gameplay: Dream Zone Invasions trigger after Phase II of the season, scale in size, and come in difficulty tiers Basic, Normal, Hard. Invasions reward Morphed Deviations and, if unchecked, convert areas into Dream Zones. A new Dream Door territory facility consumes Wakeful Sand to generate resources and link dungeon entry functions.
New Flying Vehicles
A new vehicle with ground and air capabilities is introduced, offering 360 degree aerial control, multi-rider support, and rear-seat players can shoot while airborne. Obtainable via Memetic unlocks in PvE Small Garage or craft/purchase options in RaidZone Mode.

Island Paradise – Eternaland online co-dev testing
Island Paradise lets players capture floating paradises, build using templates (Racing, Parkour, Labyrinth, Other), and invite others to visit. The update opens co-dev testing after this update.
Construction Optimizations
- Four structure skins unlocked by default as base skins.
- One-click withdraw for general storage crates.
- Place a bed in territory to set teleport arrival point in non-RaidZone modes.
- Added snap-point indicators and improved snapping accuracy for roofs, ceilings, walls, and fences.
- Expanded snap points for pillars at edges of Foundation and Ceiling.
Custom Server Updates
Lunar Revelry and RaidZone now support customized parameters for time triggers, stat multipliers, spawn intervals, territory protection periods, damage multipliers, transporter routes, and server-wide buffs. Hosts can also define custom Deviant drops, respawn points, and disable automatic character deletion. A new Custom Server Leaderboard feature lets hosts set categories, rules, and rewards.
Wish Machine Time-Limited Prize Pools
Starting November 5, 4:30 PM (PT), three new prize pools will run for 3 weeks, including Legendary weapon blueprints such as Critical Pulse and Kumawink, and Legendary gear blueprint sets.
New Shop Arrivals and Lightforge Loot Crate: Lumino Adventure
Lumino Adventure Lightforge Loot Crate runs from October 29 until before November 26 (PT) and includes Mythic wings, vehicle and outfit skins, facility skins, and epic weapon skins. Lightforge Canvas custom dyes and discounted art packs arrive alongside.
Lightforge draw UI has been visually improved on October 29 without changing draw rates. A Lightforge Ingot Lucky Box and Recharge Gift Packs are available for limited periods with various rewards and discounts.
RaidZone Updates
New Anti-Air Missile Pod defensive installation added with exclusive ammunition. Territory construction and combat optimizations in RaidZone include height limits, hiding namecard pop-ups when approaching another player’s territory, updated roles and stats for Rustic Crossbow and Recurve Bow, improved knockdown/kill feedback, and other quality-of-life changes.
Optimization – All Modes
Combat balance updates include Blueprint Collection reward additions, Savior Set and Outer Space adjustments, and bullet trajectory improvements. An instant-hit range was added for most guns at roughly 15 meters, while projectiles beyond that still travel physically with reduced drop. Jumping while aiming no longer triggers climbing, melee swings can be done mid-jump, and passengers can use consumables while in vehicles. Social chat improvements, shop catalog additions, and photo mode lighting options are also included.
Bug Fixes – All Modes
Fixed issues across shop cosmetic clipping, territory construction keybinding displays, foundation movement, animal model stuttering after territory reloads, incorrect fusion errors, disappearing weapon models in rare cases, Treant AI movement bugs, and disappearing elevator switches among others.
