Hey Metas, something huge is coming your way! Once Human will receive its Version 2.0 update, titled Dreamveil, on July 2. This update will bring a fresh PvE scenario called Endless Dream, kick off the public test for the long-awaited class system, and introduce several new events and items. Additionally, numerous optimizations and bug fixes are available to enhance your gameplay experience. Honestly, it’s a lot to take in at once!
The update will require some server maintenance around 4:00 PM (PT) on July 2, which is expected to last approximately 2 hours. Sizes vary by platform; over 10GB for PC, smaller but still substantial on mobile. I recommend downloading it over Wi-Fi to avoid any issues.
Endless Dream PvE Scenario
Imagine an apocalypse unfolding inside a dream. Sounds wild, right? That’s the premise here. You’ll be exploring the entire Nalcott map from the start, facing nested Dream Zones that alter the environment and stack combat effects as you go deeper. You can even build inside these zones without needing a Territory Terminal, which opens up some neat creative strategies.
The scenario is phased, lasting several days each, but you can speed up the progression by defeating powerful enemies called Eternal Dreamers. Your collective efforts will shape the story’s ending. Will the nightmare be purged, or will the world fall? It’s kinda cool that your actions decide the fate here.
Dream Zones come with distinct challenges like accumulating Straynes,s which can knock you out if you’re not careful. There’s also a variety of Nightmare Tubes spawning different levels of enemies, Eternal, Deep, and Light Dreamers, each affecting the zone differently. Additionally, special materials and drops, such as Dreamweaver Fruit and Reality Fragments, contribute to the mix. I gotta say, the visuals shown look pretty eerie but fascinating.
Class System Public Test
Finally! The class system is making its debut in a public test phase. You’ll be able to try out three classes: Chef, Gardener, and Beastmaster. Each brings a distinct core ability and talents that change how you play. For example, the Chef crafts dishes with random enhanced effects, the Gardener can graft crops with biomechanical parts, and the Beastmaster commands a Beast Partner to fight or gather resources.
You can pick your class after creating a new character or use a special item to switch if you’re already playing. If you’re unsure or want to skip the system, there’s a Freelancer option with no special abilities. The developers will be fine-tuning this system based on your feedback, so don’t hesitate to share your thoughts on social media or their feedback platform.
New Events & Features
The Dreamland Fantasia Event runs from July 2 to July 30, offering a dream-themed amusement park with activities like four-player races (Zephyr Riot and Dreamy Ascent), a 15-round team battle mode, and a fireworks event that drops loot crates. Dreamland Wonder Coins earned during the events can be traded for exclusive rewards, including fashions and rare items.
Other events include the Scenario Migration Guide, a cross-platform check-in reward system, and new limited-time prize pools in the Wish Machine featuring legendary weapon blueprints. Plus, there’s the Reward Covenant Gift Pack that boosts login rewards with some sweet bonuses like Crystgin and exclusive skins.
Shop Updates
Shopping subsidies will be available, giving you a base 30% discount on Crystgin purchases plus a chance for extra discounts or even free orders! The new Epic vehicle paint Rainbow Dessert, Rare character set Love Struck Peach, and facility skins are also coming soon. New furniture dyes with striking effects like Deep Galaxy and Prismatic Laser let you customize your territory’s look even more.
Optimizations & Bug Fixes
Version 2.0 includes tons of tweaks: skill-related lag during boss fights is improved, difficulty adjustments for dungeon enemies, and better resource drops. The Nightmare enemy now requires special ammo, and teleport restrictions in Dream Zones have been lifted. Crafting and weapon balance changes are plentiful—some weapons are removed or replaced, some get buffs or nerfs, and new weapons like the R500 revolver and Compound Bow join the arsenal.
On the social side, Whisper creation is streamlined, and you can now comment and reply to messages. The Eternaland system gets new features like coordinate display and island bookmarking. Mobile controls and camera modes get polish, and bug fixes cover everything from construction issues to event reward problems.
Summary
This update is packed. Endless Dream offers a fresh PvE challenge with evolving zones and player-driven outcomes. The class system test introduces new gameplay roles that might disrupt your strategies. Multiple events and shop additions keep things lively, while the numerous quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes should smooth your adventures.
