Once Human Advances Vehicle Firing and Controller Vibration
Starry Studio also expects backpack access for the recycling tool in October while reviewing broader changes to Mod Guarantee progression and the weekly Starchrom cap.

Starry Studio is moving several of Once Human‘s most-requested quality-of-life changes forward, including firing from Two-Wheelers, controller vibration, and direct backpack access for the recycling tool. The details come from the studio’s 10th Meta Hotline announcement, which uses Feedback Hot Charts standings from September 28. The eighth Meta Hotline also set a September 16 target for a planter-skin repair while leaving bound-item depot storage and Radiance dye support unsupported.
Six requests received follow-up updates in this cycle. The Feedback Hot Charts were added after Version 2.3.7, allowing players to like or dislike suggestions through the Once Human Feedback Platform. The new round follows August’s eighth Hotline, which confirmed a first-person fire effect fix and moved Growshroom controls and gear viewing into development.
Vehicle firing and controller feedback move ahead
Passengers currently cannot fire from Two-Wheelers, which limits combat coordination during team travel. Starry Studio has accepted the request and moved it higher in the schedule, with the related feature now in planning and development. A release date has not been announced.
Controller vibration has also been accepted and is already being worked on. The planned feedback will gradually cover weapons, melee combat, and vehicle operations, although Starry Studio has not shared a launch window.
Backpack recycling is planned for October
Using the recycling tool will become less menu-heavy once the planned backpack shortcut arrives. Starry Studio expects the feature to go live in October, allowing players to use the tool directly from their backpack instead of switching operations. The exact timing will be included in a future version update announcement.
Animal cooldowns are getting a backpack view
Once an animal has been summoned, its Breeding Cooldown can already be checked in the Detail Panel. Starry Studio approved a separate request to show that information directly from the backpack and said work on the change has been pushed forward.

Mod Guarantee changes will target progression
The proposed Mod Guarantee lock remains under optimization, with its timing to be announced after the plan is confirmed. Starry Studio previously considered adding interface controls to decide whether the guarantee would trigger, but later rejected that approach because it could make the system harder to understand and lead to accidental losses.
Instead, the studio plans to address the wider progression problem by reducing ineffective numerical components and Mod types. It also wants to narrow the numerical gap between players while making the final challenge more demanding. The Mod Guarantee changes will be handled alongside that broader numerical progression work.
Weekly Starchrom limits remain under review
Starry Studio is still evaluating requests for a higher weekly Starchrom cap. The current limit is tied to evolve pacing and overall balance, and the team plans to consider the request alongside its wider stat growth review. No cap change or schedule has been announced.
