Once Human recently fixed a problem that let players buy more half-price Lightforge Ingots than intended by using multiple characters on the same account. The developers have explained what happened and how they plan to make things right for players affected.
After the May 22 update, a system error allowed characters on a single account to purchase up to 200 half-price Lightforge Ingots, instead of the usual limit of 20. This meant some players could get 180 extra ingots, worth a total of 14,400 Crystgin. The issue affected Lightforge Loot Crates released on May 8 and May 22, and was fixed early on May 22.
Developer Response
The team behind Once Human emphasized that players won’t face any penalties or resource deductions for buying the extra ingots. Since the problem was caused by a system error and not player actions, they want to take responsibility for the mistake.
Spending Benefits Event
A spending benefits event will start after the July update to balance things out. Every player will get a benefit pool of 14,400 Crystgin. When you spend Crystgin in the Shop or on Lightforge Loot Crates, part of the cost will be covered by this pool until it runs out. The event will include a lucky draw, significant Crystgin discounts, and other surprises.
Players who purchased extra half-price Lightforge Ingots will have an equivalent amount deducted from their benefit pool. You can contact Customer Support for details if you want to check how many excess ingots you bought.
The developers thanked the community for supporting Once Human through cosmetic purchases and promised to keep improving the game to avoid similar issues in the future.
