Once Human just rolled out its Version 1.6.3 update on June 18, there’s much to unpack here! The update introduces custom servers, a new server launch schedule, a fresh Battle Pass called Final Gambit, and a comeback for Lightforge Loot Crates with a choose-your-own event. Plus, plenty of gameplay tweaks and bug fixes should smooth out your adventure in Nalcott. Let’s jump right in!
First, the custom servers Version 1.0 are live! You can now buy more servers than before, with plans to restock if they sell out. What’s cool is that premium features like the Shop, Lightforge Loot Crates, and the Battle Pass work across official and custom servers, sharing currencies and cosmetics. So, your shiny new gear and rewards won’t get stuck on one server. Player capacity for these servers also doubled from 500 to 1,000, which should reduce those frustrating queue times.
Another neat addition is the Server Launch Schedule. It lets you see when scenarios open and how often, plus you can pre-register for upcoming scenarios during the settlement phase, so you won’t miss out because of capacity issues. Planning your next round just got way easier!
Discord users get some love, too! If you link your account, you can now see private chats and group messages even when offline, plus spot which friends have linked Discord with a cool icon. Communication got smoother, especially for Hive and Warband groups syncing with Discord channels.
On the event front, there’s a Mobile Widget Event featuring the adorable Chefosaurus Rex. Add the widget to your home screen to track scenario phases and updates, with options to customize it to fit your style. It’s a handy little addition for staying in the loop on the go.
The Wish Machine prize pools have fresh new themes for three weeks after the update: Bullseye Hunter, Huntsman Gunner, and Old Huntsman, each with their own legendary weapon or gear blueprints. Perfect if you’re hunting for epic loot!
Of course, there’s a brand-new Battle Pass: Final Gambit dropping after the update. It features the Final Gambit fashion set, Terminus – Sword skin, Nebula Dice Cradle skin, Secret Base furniture formulas, and more. The vibe? Dark and deadly, like a silent crescent flash before your enemies’ last breath.
Lightforge Loot Crates are back with a twist: choose one of three themed crates to open (Beach Bash, Hallow’s Masquerade, or Hype Party). You can’t switch once you pick, so choose wisely. Veteran players, heads up — if your previous loot crate records aren’t showing, just log in with the character you used before to restore your progress.
Meta’s Bounty also got new trophies in the Exploration and Commemoration categories, adding fresh challenges for those eager to prove their expertise on Nalcott.
Looking ahead, two theme packs drop soon: Ascend Daily on June 25, with a 40% Summer Sale discount, and the mysterious Double Agent pack with a 22% limited-time discount. Both packs bring stylish new looks that fit some serious vibes.
A new furniture pack called Green Bites will also arrive on June 26, bringing cozy countryside charm to your in-game spaces.
Now, onto gameplay tweaks! The update cuts down melee lock-on angles for daggers, swords, and batons, making combat more challenging and skill-based. Task rewards in Main and Side Stories got adjusted for fairness, especially in Endless Dream, where some players previously had an edge from overly generous rewards. To balance things out, the devs will hand 1,200 Reality Fragments to players in open Endless Dream servers as compensation.
Scenario Challenges got tuned too, with easier early-game fights and adjusted descriptions to clear up confusion. Vision range was increased during one particular event, and teleportation towers unlock automatically after picking your Birth Point, which is a nice QoL bump.
Combat got some balance love, especially for underperforming weapons like Doombringer and Predator. The developers plan monthly balance updates based on community feedback and usage stats, and they are eager to keep builds feeling fair and fun.
Monetization-wise, weapon skins can now be displayed on Weapon Racks, and the Actions interface got sorting and filtering options. Some outfit appearances were polished, too.
Permanent servers saw infrastructure improvements, boosting player capacity. Plus, PC players can dismantle buildings during placement preview, which cuts down on extra clicks.
On the bug-fix side, several issues were squashed: Nightmare TVs task fixes, Eternal Dreamer shield glitches, chat and sound effect tweaks, and more. The devs listened closely to player feedback, which is always great to see.
Overall, this update packs a punch with new features, events, and fixes that should keep the game fresh and fair. The custom servers alone open up many possibilities for how you play with friends or join new communities.
