The latest update for Once Human, version 1.5.2, rolled out on May 7, bringing fresh content and quality-of-life improvements. This update introduces a new radio track, a standby mode for mobile players, and several gameplay optimizations. It also prepares the game for new scenarios and Visional Wheel cycles, making it a notable patch for fans.

Content and Feature Updates
- Nightmare Securement Silos: Now available in The Way of Winter, Prismverse’s Clash, and Evolution’s Call scenarios. They unlock during A Glimmer of Hope, The Last Stand, and Divided World phases respectively. Reward rules match those in the Manibus scenario. Energy Link acquisition rates in Prismverse’s Clash have been adjusted for consistency.
- New Radio Track: The song For Ya has been added to vehicle radios, Hometown FM, and jukeboxes.
- Standby Mode for Mobile: Mobile players will enter standby mode after inactivity to reduce battery use and performance load.
- New Limited-Time Wish Machine Prize Pools: Available for three weeks post-update, including:
- Ignis Dissolution: Legendary weapon blueprint “Boom! Boom!”
- Herald of Courage: Legendary blueprint “The Last Valour”
- Fire Master: Legendary gear blueprints including Hardy Gloves, Shelterer Hat, Shoes, and Mask
- New Shop Arrivals:
- Lightforge Loot Crate reruns: Freezing Mist, Urban Oddities, Cloud Command themes with new progress rewards and shared crates across characters.

- Springtime Terraced House material skin pack (Epic) debuting.
- New Epic fashion dyes for Radiant Abyss, Sleepy Panda, and Combat Medic sets, purchasable with Colorful Badges.
- Future arrivals from May 15 include Blazing Edge Dimension furniture pack, Gravitas fashion set, and Inferno weapon skins.
Optimizations
- Added preview buttons for cosmetic effects and dyes in the Shop for quicker browsing and purchases.
- Players can teleport to unlocked Teleportation Towers and cleared Securement Silos or dungeons from anywhere.
- Improved stacking of crafted items with matching effects regardless of materials used.
- Mobile version now includes an Auto-Fire Delay setting to add a brief pause before automatic firing after aiming.
- Nearby channel optimized to show players in the same Public Crisis Event, excluding certain dungeons.
- Badges from Meta’s Bounty and Starfire Journey events now share across characters.
- Eternaland adjustments: Controller’s Resource Point cost will zero; new rare fish drops added.
- New settings for PC to improve performance, including simplified visuals and max on-screen player/NPC counts.
- Android version now supports character switching in Settings.
- Mobile players can disable quick-use survival items separately for Blood Moons.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed radio continuing to play after exiting to login screen.
- Corrected repeated display of damaged Territory Purification facility names.
- Resolved Deviants getting stuck when standing on removed building materials.
- Fixed Deviants rapidly appearing and disappearing from view.
- Crosshair no longer appears if Crosshair Display is will Never.
- Blunt damage now properly deals damage.
- Unlinked Deviations no longer show Linked icon in Vending Machine listings.
- Blueprint levels no longer revert to 1 star unexpectedly.
- Staroid Restrainer progress now displays correctly after starting The Prime War.
- Scenario selection screen display issue on iPad devices fixed.
Images and animations of the new Lightforge Loot Crate fashion sets and skins showcase the update’s visual additions, adding a nice touch to the new content.
