The first image of Nvidia’s yet-to-be-announced GeForce RTX 5090 card was online before the upcoming CES keynote. This exciting reveal comes courtesy of Videocardz.com, which showed off this beauty with a hefty 3.5-slot thick cooler. Can you imagine how cool it’ll look in your rig? It’s like that one friend who just has to show up in the flashiest outfit at every party!
But wait, there’s more! The packaging also spills the beans on memory capacity. Drumroll, please… This model from Inno3D is packing a whopping 32GB of GDDR7 memory! That’s double what we saw with the 5080 model. My mind is racing with all the possibilities for gaming and multitasking!
The specs keep coming: the RTX 5090 will reportedly run on a GB202 GPU and stand out as the only SKU in the RTX 50 family featuring this processor. We’re talking about an impressive count of 21,760 CUDA cores and operating at a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 573W, an increase of 125W from its predecessor. It feels like every little detail just keeps pushing boundaries!
Nvidia is primed to officially introduce this powerhouse during its CES keynote, which is set to happen in Las Vegas on Monday at 6:30 PM PT. So, if you’re anything like me and can hardly contain your excitement, make sure you’re tuned in!
Rumor has it that we’ll also get announcements for other cards in the series, like retail listings for models such as RTX 5050, 5060, and so forth, so things are heating up fast around here.
And hey, let’s not forget that Nvidia will also contribute parts for Nintendo’s next console! A new Nintendo Switch successor will be revealed during their fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. Can you say “game on”?
