Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Black Myth: Wukong, and Marvel Rivals were on my radar, especially with the buzz surrounding the new RTX 50 series GPUs. But fans must wait longer for their DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen fix. NVIDIA confirmed that these titles won’t be ready to roll with this feature immediately.
The announcement came directly from NVIDIA’s camp: “Black Myth: Wukong, Marvel Rivals, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and NARAKA: BLADEPOINT will add DLSS Multi Frame Generation soon.” So there’s some hope on the horizon, but not quite yet.
If you have a shiny new RTX 5090 or RTX 5080 sitting in your rig, you can start playing with DLSS 4 across 75 games! That’s right, 75! But sadly, the titles above didn’t make that launch list. It’s like getting a gift without all the best toys inside.
NVIDIA had initially teased excitement around these three games, being among the first to support DLSS 4. Yet they’ve pulled back on those promises for launch day. If you’re wondering if you’ll still be able to force or activate DLSS 4 in future titles, NVIDIA mentioned that you can do so via their app or within any game that offers native support.
I’ve tinkered with the NVIDIA App myself. It’s clear now that not every title rocking DLSS 3 will automatically get up to speed with its successor. A waiting game will be involved as NVIDIA whitelists more titles over time. Are newer releases expected to include DLSS 4 functionalities from day one? That could change things significantly down the line!
I can’t help but feel let down about missing out on testing Black Myth: Wukong. At CES earlier this year, it showed promise with its support for DLSS 4. Fingers crossed, an update lands sooner rather than later because I’m itching to see how it performs! As for Indiana Jones, MachineGames has promised support in February.
The RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 are hitting shelves today amidst high anticipation—but brace yourselves; availability might be sketchy given demand. If you’re considering snagging one of these GPUs, act fast before they vanish into thin air
