Seemingly a small update, but you know how they say… behind small presents most precious things hide. It is what we’re talking about in this Nioh: Complete Edition Update. Coming as its second update in a row, Team Ninja has been aiming to improve the performance at first place.
Therefore, some known issues will be gone. Some of them relatively annoying and crucial to address, like the Shadows issue when setting on High will finally be no reason for you to leave the game. What we’re curious about is that Team Ninja releases two updates of the same size, similarly like there’s no update at all, which is more than strange.
Even if there are official patch notes, it feels like there’s always something that’s not pointed out in Team Ninja’s updates. In this story, only the players remain hurt knowing that there are not any keybind changes so they’ll be pushed to stick with their Xbox looking controls. Steam should auto download the update, however, if it doesn’t, make sure you restart your Steam client and then try to relaunch the game.
Below you may find the full patch notes for update #2:
- Fixed an issue in which changing the “Matching Area” in online settings to “Unlimited” would still result in being limited to your own area.
- Fixed an issue in which an error would occur while saving data if there was no C drive.
- Improved performance when the “Shadows” option is set to “High Quality” in the graphics settings.
