New World’s latest PTR servers addition has just gone live. These are supposed to help the developers determine any flaws in upcoming major patches, as it is the one that will include the new Void Gauntlet and bring some changes regarding trade posts and add new additions to the game. The update that is supposed to hit the live servers will come soon, so the developers must prepare for a smooth deployment.
The PTR servers are now live, and everyone that owns New World should have the PTR client in his Steam library. It’s an entirely separate installation, so you should make yourself around 40GB of space before downloading. So far, I can say that the Void Gauntlet looks crazily good and will most definitely be unique to toy with. Some of its abilities already seem pretty overpowered. The Void gauntlet scales are based on Focus, so that they could be a fantastic addition to healers.
