New Sunshine Update Released for Cassette Beasts

Today marks an enjoyable day for Cassette Beasts players as version 1.8 officially launches, dubbed the Sunshine Update. This update will bring many new features to the charming island of New Wirral, promising fresh experiences for newcomers and loyal players.

Sunny days ahead! One of the standout additions is the favorite character, Sunny. Following her involvement in the main story, she now begins her quest. Players will get to partner with her, unraveling mysteries from her past as one of the enigmatic Landkeepers that roam New Wirral.

You might be wondering why this update is so important. While Cassette Beasts already has abundant content, Sunny was a fan favorite from its initial release and had even more potential to explore. Revisiting her story has been a delightful process for developers, and they hope it meets community expectations with this fresh batch of writing and dialogue.

Sunny’s questline also introduces new creatures, including Pawper, a large beast-type resembling a bear costume. What lies beneath? It’s probably best not to ponder too deeply on that! Pawper comes equipped with a signature move called “Bear Hug,” which transfers adverse status effects onto enemies.

The Sunshine Update doesn’t stop at characters alone; you can now customize your gliding wings after recording specific monsters. If that’s not enough variety, consider checking out the new premium Wings Pack DLC for even more themed wing options to suit your character.

If you’re ready to take flight- whether it’s your first time playing Cassette Beasts or well-acquainted with its mechanics- the developers are eager for you to experience what they’ve crafted in this update. Jump in today on Xbox!

The game invites players into an adventure where they battle foes using cassette tapes that transform them into various monsters residing on New Wirral’s mysterious terrain.
