New “Quadrusher” transport vehicle coming to Fortnite

Amongst all sorts of transport that can be found nowadays in Fortnite, it seems like a new one is on its way. The so-called “Quadrusher” is about to make its first appearance in Fortnite very soon. This was announced on the official news section. While we have lots of ways to transport, why not add a Quad? We do not know what kind of inspiration decided Epic Games bring another vehicle in Fortnite, but we’re certain it will bring huge fun to all the youngsters out there.

Namely, the first wave of Shopping Carts was probably not the most useful way to transport with friends, even though you were able to move slightly faster. After that, during Season 5, we’ve been introduced to the All Terrain Karts, which in general was useful for getting to the next circle easier, but also introduced many consequences. Its loud sound was the main reason why players started avoiding them even after a couple of weeks after release.

Now, in Season 6, we’re introduced to yet another transport vehicle, the Quadrusher. Compared to the ATK, it’s most likely to be a two-seater, and according to its looks and resembling sound in real life, Quads will most likely be even louder than ATKs.

To be honest, was this sort of addition needed? Do players maybe need Helicopters as a next vial transport option? To be honest, it WAS amazing to follow Epic Games’ work encouraging professional players to come to Fortnite because of all the fun mechanics in the game. The map is certainly not that huge to add other vehicles with different spawn locations just to allow players to grab some extra loot before they move. Also, it somewhat hurts the gameplay authenticity Fortnite had during its past seasons.

The Quadrusher will also have the possibility to crush buildings, which after the material HP nerfs in Season 5, this vehicle will do nothing else but destroy the whole meaning of FORTNITE.

Especially now when we have Rift-to-go, normal Rifts and dozens of other options, this addition is certainly not helpful nor fun. The only option for releasing this vehicle in the game would be vaulting some other transport vehicle or rift closure. Otherwise, we may see Fortnite traversing From a Battle Royale to a Racing Video Game.
