Neurable and HyperX revealed a brain-controlled headset at CES 2026

Neurable and HyperX revealed a prototype gaming headset on the CES 2026 show floor that reads and reacts to players’ brain activity to provide real-time feedback during play.

The cups are fitted with brain-computer interface sensors that track brainwaves and feed that data into Neurable’s neurofeedback Prime system. According to a BusinessWire press release, testing with everyday gamers and esports athletes showed faster reaction times by 43 milliseconds and improved accuracy during FPS training sessions. You can read that press release on BusinessWire.

The companies presented the design as a prototype only. There is no official product name, pricing, or ship date. Neurable says the headset is built to improve focus and gameplay rather than monitor stress. The tech is similar in purpose to Neurable’s 2025 MW75 Neuro project with Master & Dynamic, which used soft-fabric EEG sensors and a smartphone app to report when and where players focused best.

Neurable framed the collaboration as a way to scale its neurotechnology into gaming. CEO and co-founder Ramses Alcaide said the partnership would “bring neurotechnology to gamers at a scale we’ve never been able to reach before” and that the companies “look forward to the excitement of this strategic relationship, which represents a promising future of gaming, one where understanding your mind becomes as natural as understanding your mechanics.” Both quotes are from the BusinessWire release.

Details on battery life, platform support, and how the headset will interface with games were not disclosed. Given the added BCI hardware and Neurable’s processing tech, battery capacity will be a factor developers and players will watch closely once the product moves past prototype stage.
