Developer Visual Concepts released a new patch for NBA 2K26, deploying developer version v1.3 on September 11. The update addresses reported disconnects, progression issues, and several MyCAREER hangs, while leaving core gameplay unchanged, as the team continues to monitor live modes.
This is the third update since launch and arrives without sweeping gameplay changes. Console players will see the build labeled NBA 2K26 update 1.005 on their systems, and patches remain large downloads even when they mostly contain fixes. Visual Concepts says it’s watching performance across The City, Park, Pro-Am, and other modes before making more aggressive adjustments. Players should expect fixes first and gameplay changes later if broader trends show a need.
The patch addresses a mix of online stability and progression issues, and includes a few PC-specific corrections. Keyboard prompt errors for alley-oops and missing custom shoes in the closet were specifically called out for PC. The devs restored badge perks lost when leaving Crews and fixed several hangs that could appear when inviting players or entering arenas. Support appears active for now, though future changelogs may still come without exhaustive notes.
