Today marks the arrival of NaturalVision Enhanced, a visual overhaul mod for GTA 5 that promises to push the game’s graphics to significant levels. If you thought GTA 5 couldn’t look any better, wait until you see these exclusive screenshots that blur the line between game and reality.
Created by the talented modder Razed, this latest version builds on previous NaturalVision mods by adding Rockstar’s new RTGI (ray-traced global illumination) technology. It also introduces a real-time tunables menu, letting players with beefy rigs tweak settings to dial up the realism further.
NaturalVision Enhanced is free to download and includes improvements like refined environmental weather effects, richer ambient colors, and upgraded world textures. Razed shared some exclusive images with us, and honestly, they look so lifelike that I had to do a double-take.
Razed told us he’s currently working on a trailer with his editor, Denis, to launch alongside the mod. He’s still fine-tuning lighting and weather effects and porting over 3D assets from the earlier NaturalVision Evolved mod. It’s a slow process because he wants everything to look just right.
One remarkable detail: screen-space shadows were disabled in the standard GTA 5 Enhanced mod because they glitch when the player gets too close to objects or NPCs. Razed re-enabled them here, but they only show up when you’re not right against something. He says the shadows boost the atmosphere inside buildings and at night, so it’s worth the trade-off.
If you’re curious to try it out, head over to Razed’s official site to download NaturalVision Enhanced. It’s a must-have for anyone who wants to see Los Santos in a new light.
