NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is celebrating five years with an anniversary update that is live now and pushes the fight into new territory. Wanchu, the game’s first underwater battleground, is available now and brings a more vertical version of melee combat to the battle royale.
The map is built around a dedicated underwater combat system, so players can dodge, rise, sink, and keep trading blows below the surface instead of fighting on dry land. It is a big visual and mechanical change for a game that has already spent years leaning on movement and close-range pressure.
The celebration also comes with a five-week reward run. Players can earn free premium skins, cosmetics, login bonuses, an Extreme Temulch outfit, Tae Craftsman Orbs, permanent treasure chests, and 15 exclusive cosmetics, including soccer-themed outfits, ultimate accessories, and the Kaleidoscope Parasol skin.
24 Entertainment is pairing those rewards with a new hero, Ye Xiu. He is built around fast movement, counterattacks, and direct confrontation, while his signature weapon, the Kaleidoscope Parasol, is the game’s first multi-form transforming weapon, able to switch between offense and defense.
The anniversary materials also point to Stormchant, an extraction-style map set around the founding emperor of China’s Han Dynasty. Players will move through underground caverns, face the White Snake boss in Baidi Palace, and try to rescue an emperor from danger. One of the promotional panels also teases a Rift Traversal new chapter for July 15 PT.
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT’s fifth anniversary has a lot going on at once, and the underwater combat alone is enough to make this update stand out. Tell us what you think in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
