NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is getting a huge update! The update has already started rolling out, with the servers going down at Sep 11th, at 23:00 (UTC). The update will conclude tomorrow, September 12 (04:00 UTC), which is exactly when the servers are coming back online. This means we have a couple of hours to spare and go through the patch notes.
Right after the update we’re getting a limited-time event called Moonlit Laurel. The event will run from Sep 12th to Sep 23rd, 20:00 (UTC) and will include a lot of quests and rewards.
If you’re on that Aeon Season Battlepass grind, take note: the expiration has been pushed to Sep 23rd, 23:00 (UTC). You’ve got a little more time to hit those goals, so no need to panic just yet!
Hero Adjustments
A few heroes are getting some tweaks in this update, and it’s going to shake things up:
- Tarka Ji is getting a buff with his [Flame Force: Block] ability now protecting against ranged attacks. Time to get even more aggressive with him!
- Matari is seeing a visual overhaul for her Ultimate [Invisible Assassin: Restore]. Let’s hope this makes her even sneakier.
- Lyam Liu is getting his Ultimate [Metal Fusion] slightly nerfed, reducing the pulling effect during teleportation. No more easy escapes!
Weapon Tweaks
The Single-edged Weapon is getting some love too. Charging up after that third horizontal strike? Expect smoother gestures for that strike. It’s all about making those combos feel just right.
Heroes Assemble – Extra Rewards
Everyone’s favorite mode, Heroes Assemble, is dishing out even more rewards. Each prize draw now nets you an additional 150 Hidden Treasure XP. And they’re beefing up the prize pool by adding Cleanse Stones and increasing the number of other rewards like Legendary Souljades and Rebirth Beads. Some old items are getting axed from the pool, though-Elemental Essences and XP Bonus Cards are outta here!
Showdown Adjustments
The Showdown mode is getting a ton of adjustments, especially when it comes to combat and stages. A couple of highlights:
- The Stone Monster in the Aegis-break stage has optimized collision effects. You’ll feel it when you’re landing those big hits.
- Lightning Spear is lasting longer in the Buried Giant stages. More time to wreak havoc!
Other big changes are coming to Nirriti’s Ruins, Yama’s Abyss, and a bunch of bug fixes to keep the action smooth.
