Johan “N0tail” Sundstein has moved from OG’s coaching seat back into the active lineup, the organization confirmed on Oct 14, 2025. The 32-year-old will take up his familiar role as position five support and is listed alongside Shad, Stojkov, MikSa, and daze for upcoming matches. N0tail is one of the most decorated figures in Dota 2. He has not played an official match since The International 2021, and his return brings a veteran presence to a roster that has been rebuilding in recent months.
N0tail spent several months as OG’s head coach after taking the role in May 2025. At the time, he described himself as a coach and a project lead for Dota 2, guiding new players through OG’s rebuild. The organization later announced that he would return to the active roster, replacing Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos. His presence carries weight. N0tail is one of five players in history to lift the Aegis of Champions twice in a row. He captained OG through back-to-back International wins that many fans still point to as defining moments for the team; readers can revisit that run in coverage of OG’s unforgettable back-to-back victories.
OG are leaning on that experience now. With young players like Stojkov and MikSa still adjusting to top-level play, N0tail’s in-game leadership could provide stability and help clarify the team’s strategy. After more than three years away from competitive play, his return reads as both a personal choice and a vote of confidence in the lineup. Whether it becomes another chapter of headline success or a final competitive run, some fans hope it could lead to a renewed quest for the top, a possible new chapter of glory for OG. But, even if that happens, will it be the same without Ceb?
OG would like to thank Rodrigo 'Lelis' Santos for his efforts during his brief tenure with the squad.
