ESL has confirmed most of the field for DreamLeague Season 28, with 14 of the 16 competing organizations now known. The event runs from Feb. 16 to Mar. 1, 2026, and carries a $1,000,000 prize pool plus ESL Pro Tour points.
Seven teams earned invites through the ESL Pro Tour leaderboards, while nine slots came from regional closed qualifiers. Among the qualifiers are MOUZ and Team Liquid, joined in Western Europe by NAVI and Team Falcons. Other regional qualifiers include BetBoom Team, Execration, GamerLegion and Perú Rejects. Two places remain open. They will be filled by the winners of DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3 and ESL Challenger China.
DreamLeague Season 28 splits into three stages: Group Stage 1, Group Stage 2, and Playoffs. The first Group Stage divides teams into two groups of eight and uses a round-robin. The top four from each group advance to the second Group Stage, which is a single round-robin. The top two teams from that stage start in the Playoffs’ upper bracket, while third and fourth go into the lower bracket. Playoff matches are best-of-three with a best-of-five Grand Final.
The tournament awards $750,000 to players and $250,000 in Club Rewards, and contributes ESL Pro Tour points that matter for qualifying to future ESL events. Expect the usual mix of established contenders and wildcard stories once the final two spots are decided. Follow the official DreamLeague page for the bracket and match schedule.
