Mortal Kombat 1 First Kombat Pack DLC Characters Allegedly Leaked by Amazon

The much-anticipated Mortal Kombat 1 has seen another unexpected development. According to a product listing on Amazon Italy, the identities of the first Mortal Kombat 1 DLC fighters included in the game’s Kombat Pack appear to have been prematurely disclosed.

Upon pre-order, two of the game’s three editions include a Kombat Pack, which provides early access to six new playable characters and other exciting features. The Amazon Italy listing revealed these characters as Quan Chi, Omni Man, Ermac, Takeda, Peacemaker, and Homelander.

This seemingly inadvertent leak affirms prior claims that Peacemaker and potentially Homelander would be added to the game’s roster as DLC characters. These proposed additions showcase the blend of Mortal Kombat’s traditional fighters and famous figures from other franchises that have become a signature of the game’s DLC strategy.

Mortal Kombat 1, developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games, will be released on September 19, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The game promises a rebirth of the Mortal Kombat Universe, meticulously crafted by the Fire God Liu Kang, with reimagined versions of iconic characters that will offer a fresh gaming experience.
