It’s time to talk about the latest buzz surrounding Monster Hunter Wilds. We all know how frustrating it can be when you’re deep into a game, battling monsters and crafting gear, only to hit a wall because of a glitch. Capcom heard our cries and is swooping in with a patch this Tuesday, March 4th!
The sneaky bug we’re dealing with here is a real showstopper. It’s all about an important NPC that decides not to show up where they’re supposed to, like that friend who bails on plans at the last minute! This bug has been causing headaches for players trying to progress in Chapter 5-2, aptly titled “A World Turned Upside Down.” Talk about irony!
Here’s what Capcom says they’ll be fixing:
- Fixes for known progression blockers.
- Updates to the Ingredient Center feature.
- Grill a Meal functionality improvements.
This patch will go live at 12 am PT / 3 am ET / 8 am GMT, so mark your calendars! When the update drops, any online sessions will be paused. You’ll need to download it before jumping back in with friends.
Monster Hunter Wilds has received some glowing reviews, earning an impressive score of 90 on consoles and 88 on PC over at Metacritic. That’s like getting straight A’s in monster hunting! 🏆 Over the weekend, the game broke records on Steam with more than one million concurrent players. It crushed even giants like Elden Ring.
Tsujimoto is also being promoted to oversee all of Capcom’s development divisions next month. If anyone knows how to keep the momentum going for this series, it’s him!
