Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has recently rolled out updates that are set to enhance the gaming experience for its vast player base. The developers have addressed two crucial aspects of the game: the functionality of the EOD Padding Gear and the distribution of Battle Pass XP.
For some time, players have reported issues with the EOD Padding Gear perk in Modern Warfare 3. This gear, crucial for reducing explosive damage, was not performing as expected, leading to unbalanced gameplay and frustration among players. This issue was listed on the game’s Trello board.
The latest update has successfully resolved this issue. The EOD Padding Gear will properly mitigate incoming explosive damage, restoring balance and fairness in combat situations. This fix is particularly significant for players who rely on strategic gameplay, ensuring that skill and tactics remain paramount in battle encounters.
Developers have also addressed concerns regarding the Battle Pass XP. As detailed on the game’s Trello board (https://trello.com/c/GXChkahl), players who used Double Battle Pass XP tokens between the launch and the fix will be pleased to know that these tokens will be refunded soon. Furthermore, as previously outlined, Battle Pass XP has been retroactively granted as of November 28th.
Update: Battle Pass XP has been retroactively granted as of 11/28 as previously outlined.
Double Battle Pass XP tokens used between the Launch and Fix window will be refunded soon.
