Microsoft Flight Simulator’s June 25 note pairs an active beta with a Slovenia fly-in, while also giving the weekly Marketplace and community calendar a quick check-in.
The team said the public beta for Sim Update 5.1 is still live and that build 1.7.34.0 is the current test version. It also thanked players for sending in bug reports and taking part in the forum surveys, which the team said remain important as it works toward release. For beta players who have not voted yet, the forum surveys are still open.
On the Marketplace side, the briefing said this week’s new and updated releases are already available inside the simulator, but the website listing has not been refreshed yet. The team said it will post the updated Marketplace listings within the next few days.
Community Fly-In Friday will take a scenic route over Slovenia on June 26 at 1800Z to mark Slovenia Statehood Day. The briefing also pointed MSFS 2020 players to the free World Update 15 scenery through the in-sim Marketplace, while MSFS 2024 users already have that region installed by default. The event details are on the forums, and last week’s fly-in visited the City Update 15 scenery.
The weekly flight inspiration section also looked ahead to the World Cup group stage across the USA, Canada, and Mexico, which opens the door to plenty of charter and airliner routes for players who want to match real-world travel patterns.
The weekly video spotlight puts the Fokker F70 & F100 by JustFlight in front of players ahead of its release this week.
