Microsoft Flight Simulator is celebrating the sixth anniversary of the 2020 simulator launch with a franchise-wide sale. All versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 are now 30% off on the Windows Store, Xbox, and Steam through September 1, 2026.
The Microsoft Flight Simulator Team detailed the promotion in its franchise sale announcement. The discount lineup also includes Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) at 65% off all versions, while the classic Microsoft Flight Simulator X is available at 80% off.
A free soundtrack is available on Steam
Steam users can claim the newly released Microsoft Flight Simulator Soundtrack: Themes Reimagined for free until September 1 at 10 a.m. The collection runs for 86 minutes and includes previously unreleased music compiled from the simulator’s release trailers.
3 aircraft packs are available for $39.99 each
Owners of the Standard, Deluxe, or Premium Deluxe edition of either Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) or Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 can also purchase 3 new aircraft packs. Each pack costs $39.99 on Steam, Windows, and Xbox stores.
The packs bring together 30 aircraft that were previously released individually for Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020): 19 Local Legends aircraft, 10 Famous Flyers aircraft, and 1 Expert Series aircraft. Anyone who owns the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Aviator Edition already has all 30 planes.
