Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 opened Early Access on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro on December 2, 2025, with a rolling global release that unlocks at 8am local time in most regions.

PlayStation users who pre-ordered the Deluxe, Premium Deluxe or Aviator Editions get immediate Early Access. Players who bought the Standard Edition will gain access on December 8, 2025. Those who did not pre-order can buy any of the eligible editions now to join the Early Access period. The rollout is regionally staggered to match local time zones so owners should see the sim become available at 8am in their area. The announcement from the developer notes a release map to show exact unlock times for specific countries.

The PS5 launch follows earlier reporting that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 was heading to PlayStation 5 in November 2025, a move that shifts the series further beyond its PC and Xbox origins. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is Reportedly Heading to PS5 in November 2025. Players who plan to expand their experience should note that Marketplace content and seasonal deals remain relevant across platforms during the launch window.
