Microsoft Announces Exciting New Xbox Game Pass Titles

Microsoft has unveiled a dynamic collection of new titles coming to the Xbox Game Pass, for console, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. The offerings promise to appeal with titles ranging from the acclaimed Grand Theft Auto 5 to Exoprimal.

Effective today, the hugely popular Grand Theft Auto 5 is now available on Cloud and Console. At the same time, the charmingly mystical Sword and Fairy: Together Forever can be played across all platforms: Cloud, Console, and PC. Players can prepare for McPixel 3 hitting the platforms tomorrow, July 6.

The middle of the month will see the arrival of the thought-provoking city-building game Common’hood and the realistic combat simulator Insurgency: Sandstorm on July 11, with the latter exclusively for PC.

On July 14, Exoprimal, a game about battling dinosaur-like creatures, comes to Cloud, Console, and PC. The Cave, a puzzle-platformer/adventure game, and Techtonica, available for Game Preview, will close out the influx of new titles on July 18.

However, with the introduction of new titles, it’s time to bid farewell to some familiar ones. Exo One will exit the Game Pass on July 15, a physics-based exoplanetary exploration game, the kid-favorite Paw Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls, and the challenging rogue-like game Spelunky 2. Each title will leave all platforms: Cloud, Console, and PC.

Alongside this wave of exciting new content, Microsoft also announced price increases for Xbox Game Pass subscriptions and the Xbox Series X console. The monthly subscription fee for the Xbox Game Pass will rise by one dollar, from $9.99 to $10.99 (£7.99 to £8.99 / €9.99 to €10.99), starting from July 6. The price of the Xbox Series X console is also set to increase, with changes taking effect in August.
